paradise (absurd)

In the foreground of the fictional landscapes, fictional figures spread out. The unbuilt landscape, the surreal games of the light, evoke a deaf and quiet untopian space for me. It is in this silence that my figures are placed, immersed in their own thoughts, lonely, completely entangled by their plastic anatomy. The series is an imprint of a dubious earthly or after-life vision, a paradise image loaded with beauty and anxiety. The vulnerability and transience of Albert Camus absurd man contrasts with the relentless permanence of the world.
