The starting point for the series “We want it all” is the inconceivably extensive presence and possession that we face against the Earth. I feel a contradiction between the fact that while we live in a globalized and high tech world and our comfort is at the expense of any other sort of life on Earth, our power is still ridiculously small compared to nature. While painting the pictures I both felt anger and bitter regret towards mankind. I set my figures back to nature, where they originally belong to, yet their vulnerable, naked bodies are fragmented, digested by the serpentine vegetation surrounding them.
